The $350,000 Bonsai tree

These incredibly expensive Bonsai trees were offered for sale (and were actually sold) at the Taikan-ten Bonsai exhibition in Kyoto.

With listing prices of $35k to $350k, these trees are true masterpieces that have been meticulously worked on and looked after for decades, if not generations. We show three Junipers and two pines in the movie, with the owner of S-Cube (the shop selling the trees, owned by mr. Morimae) and the creator of one of the trees (mr. Kimura) showing us their work.
