AWA Title Match Series #004

Appalachian Wrestling Alliance from Oak Hill, WV on July 30th, 1999 featuring a vacant AWA heavyweight title and a match to determine a new champion between Scotty Blaze and War Machine. On the previous Tuesday night in Beckley, WV Brian Logan had lost the title to the Assassin when he was hit by a headbutt and "loaded mask". That decision was protested by Scotty Blaze who challenged Assassin to an immediate match, which he won, for the title. When Brian Logan regained consciousness, he attacked BOTH men over the loss of his title and in the ensuing brawl, AWA Commissioner Ward Wilson declared the title vacant. The two top contenders face off in this match to determine a new champion.
