Why I will not wear a cycle helmet

I refuse to wear a cycle helmet. My plan is to do a few vids of places I go to and some bike vids. I have a bike but just got a fold up bike for ease. However before people moan I do not wear a helmet. I refuse to. A lot of reports have said they do nothing. I fail to see how they do much. Yes, it makes middle class people feel safe as they live in fear. Just like those non medical grade face masks did nothing that they wore the last two or three years. And yes they love to have there children live in fear and wear them. But I will not. One thing I have noticed is that cars get close to you if you wear them (I presume because they see you as sensible) while they keep further away if you do not have them on (presumably because they think you may not cycle safely). However if you cycle in the woods then I would wear one in case I cycle into a branch. But even if they did protect you, I feel not wearing one makes cycling fun. And wearing one rather unpleasant as well as making you look a right prat. So do not moan I do not wear one. If you want to wear one, that is up to you. But not for me thank you.
