After Tobu Zoo announced the Regina would close it was listed on Interlink, as a ride broker and the entry has been tagged as "sold". As of April 2021, the roller coaster is still at the zoo without signs any removal has occurred.

In late 2021, the park announced that Regina would reopen in the spring of 2023 with a Steampunk theme. GCI is known to be part of the project and provide new trains.
