NPR Coverage of Kyle Rittenhouse with Peter Boghossian

Coverage of the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse is among the most spectacular media failures of our time and NPR was among the worst offenders. When the jury gave Rittenhouse a not guilty verdict, NPR continued to eschew facts, evidence, law, and actual events in the courtroom. Instead of providing listeners with an accurate report about the trial, NPR devised a story that cast aspersions on Rittenhouse and anyone who supported the verdict: “Far-right extremists herald Kyle Rittenhouse’s acquittal.”

In the story, the NPR reporter notes there is “no evidence” for accusations of anti-Semitism or a Proud Boy connection to Judge Bruce Schroeder, but interestingly, the accusations remain intact and were broadcast on public radio stations across the country.
