#sambankmanfried will go down as a top 2 #biggest #scammer in U.S. history. While Bernie Madoff's total losses (after recovery) were around $4 Billion, it does not appear as if Sam Fried will be able to have anything recovered from his FTX exchange.

He was worth $26 Billion and low estimates for his damage to others is over $1 Billion. Having illegally taken an additional $10 Billion of clients money to trade with, he currently has no means to pay that money back either. He is now said to be worth around $100K.

How did he become famous? How did he trick people into thinking he was a legit business man? Why is he still free?
