This was the Last Interest rate hike and you can expect rtes to eventually fall.

The Bank of Canada raised the target for its overnight rate by 50bps to 4.25%.

Next meeting is Jan 25th, 2023 and it’s unlikely they raise rates again.

5 Year bond rates touched 2.93% which means 5 year fixed mortgages will likely follow that down.
