Henry Cavill announced his departure from The Witcher about a month ago, and in that time a petition has grown, demanding that the writers be fired and Cavill be brought back. This is due to the report that the writers were 'actively mocking' the source material behind the scenes. Now the showrunner and the writers have taken to social media, practically begging fans to give the upcoming season 3 a chance and saying how much they love the world of The Witcher. Will it work, or is it too late?
