There are no directions
Most of the time
You're standing at a crossroad
And there are multiple ways to turn
You never really know
Whether you're on the right road
Whether you're going the right way
You just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other
And keep it moving
Trusting that there will be light at the end of the road
There will be a sign
That tells you you've made the right choice
And you're going the right way
In some ways, there is no right way
You just have to trust
Based on the decisions you're making
And the direction you're going in
That it will lead you
To the place you ultimately want to be in
And keep it moving
There's never really someone at that crossroad
To say, yep, this way
You're going the right way
There never really is that
And when there is
You're still never sure
Only you can know for yourself
Whether your direction
Is the right direction for you
Based on where you want to be
And where you feel comfortable
But one thing is for sure
You know when it's right
You feel it
And it feels good
You just have to keep going
For as long as it feels right
You never really know
It's like walking in darkness
And trusting
Each step forward
Is going to lead you somewhere
That is not detrimental to your journey
To yourself
There is a lot of trust involved
There is a lot of trusting yourself
That you're making the right decisions
And you're going in the right direction
That gut feeling
Following your instinct
You never really know
But you do know
When it feels right
And that's as good as knowing
That you're doing the right thing
And going the right way.
