what is the difference between techno and bass house?

here's my answer!

Generally speaking tech house is easier to listen to since the elements are catchier and dancier with more minimal elements.

Bass house is so sick live, especially with artists like space laces who go heavy with it.

Generally bass house is harder to make simply because the sound design is like dubstep. That being said, there is still a balance between complex sound design and simple and catchy Rhythyms.

What bass house and tech house have in common is that they both are the same tempo range between 120 and 130bpm and also are 4on the floor ie kick on every beat drum pattern. The difference is mostly in sound design!
