Whether someone questioned if these dogs were statues, they wouldn't be far off. Jackson, Cash, and X the dogs can stand completely still, courtesy to their owner Evelyn Edblad. The dogs lock in place and don't budge after receiving a single, straightforward order. even their tails don't wag.
This was captured as I was walking my dogs during lunchtime. Jackson, Cash, and X have been trained to remain motionless until I indicate to them that they are free to move. Then, anticipating the opportunity to rush around, they freeze. They will freeze while managing the sheep, which is a habit that may be learned and paired with their instinct as sheepdogs.
