The Darker Side of Being Black | #OYIBM

Do all black men feel like they are trapped by the American perception of the black man. Some think we can overcome these stereotypes? Some believe they are nonexistent. Some believe they are too difficult to overcome with past indiscretions. But are they a farce? Are they a mythical creature we refuse to let go of? Or are these precepts real in nature? With all the negative stereotypes surrounding black men; we decided to exam how can we take control of these images and use them for our good. We don’t think we will be too successful in doing so, but we will try.
