What was it like running for political office?

Politics is like life on steroids. It magnifies everything about you, both good and bad. It also exposes who you are, reveals who you are and test you to see what you are made of. If you are not being attacked by the right people, you’re not being effective. Attacks are the proof you are making a difference and are a threat.
