Hello everyone! Welcome to the Drum for Jesus channel. In this video, I'm honored to present drum instructions for beginners; worship drumming techniques.

Drums in worship settings can provide an outstanding elevation of the traditional instrumental ensemble, while allowing rhythm players in the church an opportunity to glorify God with their gifts and their talents.

A worship drummer is someone who puts their heart for Jesus before the beat. Without this distinction, we would just be drummers. As worship drummers, we have a whole other responsibility that is of no bearing in secular music; the heart of a worshiper!

The drummer provides musical leadership (with the drums) to ensure order, structure, and harmony among all aspects of the worship experience.

Drumming induces deep relaxation, lowers blood pressure, and reduces stress. Moreover, drumming promotes the production of endorphins, the body's own pain killers, and can thereby help in the control of pain and those suffering grief.
