Plustek OpticFilm 8200i AI - Unboxing

I have a lot of 35mm negatives to scan. After asking around and looking at different scanners and sales I picked the 8200i AI.

Was this a good choice? If you have done scanning of 35mm what do you recommend? What software should I use? If you have suggestions I welcome having this process go as efficiently as possible.

I will have a review once I use this enough.
