Who Do people say that I am? Matt. 16:13-17
(Advent Peace)
13When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”
14So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17Jesus answered and said to him “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.”

Luke 2:13-14
“Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.””

I. The Bringer of Peace
 So where is peace found?
 The Apostle Paul says in Galatians 5:22-23
Galatian 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Paul calls for us to understand that God has provided for us a means for peace. Jesus came so that we would have peace.

II. How can I know this Peace?
 You can know this peace by and only by Jesus Christ!
Romans 5:8-9
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
John 14:6
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Romans 10:14-15
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”
It is well with my soul lyrics:

Let this blessed assurance control
That Christ hath regarded my helpless estate
And hath shed His own blood for my soul”
