Europe forcing Apple to use USB Type C

The European Union has implemented a new rule that will force any & all manufacturers to make devices that use USB Type-C by end of 2024.
The main big player this will impact the most is Apple that for some reason still refuses to give their iPhones & Headphones USB C.
Even tho literally all of their other products use USB type c.
The main reason Europe is doing this is to simply cut down on e-waste, but a great side effect of this is that you are gonna be able to charge your phone, laptop, speakers, cameras basically everything all through one standard.
Which btw is by far the best one in terms of reliability, data transfer & power delivery.
