GM Workers Unionizes LG Battery Plant - What Does This Mean?

Workers at a General Motors-LG Energy battery cell factory in northeast Ohio overwhelmingly voted to join the United Auto Workers, a big win for the union seeking to organize the growing electric vehicle supply chain sector. The National Labor Relations Board said hourly employees at the Ultium Cells plant near Cleveland voted in favor of joining the union.
