"Speaking Truth to Power", (Jer Chapters 21&22), 2022-12-11, Longbranch Community Church

In this sometimes contentious message, (that could be hard for some to hear) Pastor John covers Jeremiah, Chapters 21 & 22. Within this collection of oracles, Jeremiah “Speaks Truth (specifically) to Power”. In so doing, Jeremiah proclaims a close to the reign of Davidic Kings, …almost (praise God)!

Additionally, Pastor John makes clear the fact that God always hones in on righteousness & justice, and as such, John lays out his belief that “the root” of today’s social justice movement …is actually biblical. We must each seek, believe and speak truth – to learn to love the things that God loves, and hate the things that God hates. It might be hard at times – but we must stand up and be heard.
