My RV Works, Inc., Certified RV Technician, Darren Koepp, continues the 2nd season of “Ten Minutes With A Tech”.

Roger from Utah makes an inquiry about the sealant, or caulking, that is used on RV’s. Darren provides some information about the caulking that he uses for different parts of RV’s (e.g. roofs, windows, vents, etc.)

Rick writes in from Michigan with an RV Water Heater question. He wants to know how often the check valves on water heaters go bad and need to be replaced? Darren discusses some aspects of RV water heater check valve operation and how to use them and discusses how to keep them from going bad and needing replacement.

Tip: They will work for many years, given that your RV’s water heater is serviced and backflushed annually.
