This is why the Christian should not shy away from the so-called "problem of evil". Grace overcoming evil is baked into the very existence of the Christian message. The Christian takes part in the pain and suffering and evil. The Christian is freed from that very chain of evil. And ultimately, it is the problem that is completely done away within the culmination of God's story on Earth.
