Madeleine Melo turned the loss of her husband into a foundation to save the environment from marijuana. Jere Melo was gunned killed on an illegal marijuana farm in Northern California. The shooter and marijuana grower was known to be psychotic. Jere was a forester, city councilman, a family man, and had a passion to protect the environment.
