Sony ramping up PS5 production

Video transcript:
Sony is ramping up its production of PlayStation 5 consoles.
There were about 11.5 million of them produced in 2021.
And they are hoping to produce about 18 million this year, so almost 60% more.
There are obviously still supply shortages especially for the shiny new parts that are in PS5s.
There are only so many silicon wafer you can get your hands on to produce the chips in these things.
So hopefully the supply gets better & whoever doesn’t yet have one can get their hands on it.
You know, if they actually want one, maybe you’re an Xbox guy, Nintendo guy or a PC guy.
