Serbs in full combat readiness: how the situation on the border with Kosovo is developing

The situation on the border with Kosovo continues to escalate. Serbian troops are actively gathering there. The country's Defense Minister Milos Vucevic said that the armed forces are ready to fulfill their duty to protect the civilian population at any moment. At the same time, he noted that Belgrade does not want any conflicts and wars.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, in his last address to the nation, urged fellow citizens to calm down. He assured that the government is doing everything possible.

“I urge our people, although I know they did not, not to threaten the work of KFOR and EULEX in any way, not to be a weapon in the hands of those who seek to portray them as the culprits,” said the Serbian leader.
