Colorado Trail 22 - Day 1

Day one of my 2022 hike of the Colorado Trail. It's a short day with only 12.7 miles to my first camp. I'm really out of hiking shape and need to take it slow. I got here super early and wanted to keep hiking but I have a long way to go and want to play it smart. I started hiking around 6:30 to 7a.m. and hiked pretty much straight to camp with only 2 small breaks along the way, so far so good, and what a great day to start a hike.
