Dedicated from birth

Jesus was dedicated in the Temple at Jerusalem but Joseph & Mary offered the lesser alternative of two "pigeons" rather than a lamb & dove as given in the Law of Moses. This alternative was allowed for those who did not have the means to acquire a lamb but was just as effective an offering. God makes a way for all people of all walks and means to come to Him for redemption. We just need to come.
