The Show: Oregon just passed Ballot Measure 111. It says that the state "ensure that every resident of Oregon has access to cost-effective, clinically appropriate and affordable health care as a fundamental right."

What defines a resident of Oregon? What defines what is cost-effective treatment? Who decides what is clinically appropriate? What happens if a person in healthcare declines to provide health services to an Oregon Resident, are they infringing on someone’s state rights?

So many questions as far as interpretation, costs, and implications for those PROVIDING healthcare and those RECEIVING.
