In this video, I'll describe everything that I tried to get the pins fit to the rods without "bluing" the upper rod ends. I found it impossible to avoid. I made several attempts and finally found a way that works consistently. I explain the rod numbering for the small block Ford and how to assemble them for proper positioning. Finally, I demonstrate actually preparing, heating and assembling a rod/pin/piston combo
