The Midnight Special Isn't Cruel

Credence Clearwater Revival doing an old Lead Belly song and Cheap Trick taking Elvis downtown are the ingredients baked into today's Segue City Special as we wrap up the work week, tidy up the studio and hit the door to catch some rays. The Mayor will take over for the weekend and we're pretty sure he'll leave us a list of segues that have come to him... personally we think he shouldn't eat pizza so late at night...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
