Business's Write Off Charitable Donations....So What!?!?

Many people have issues with big companies like Amazon getting a potential tax write off for charitable contributions.... why!? Who care!? At least the money is going to support a good organization and not to be sent to the government for those dollars to be wasted. Nonprofits need business support and businesses need tax encentives.
