• This concoction dates back to 1786, and the term “Toddy” comes from a traditional Indian drink called a toddy. An Indian toddy is made by fermenting palm tree sap.
It was widely believes that this used to be a medicine for colds & flu due to the lemon & honey to soothe symptoms.
