Troubleshooting Bogging Generac

During power failures sometimes the generator would oscillate resulting in lights dimming. So we had problems with the gas regulators (there are 3) so I jumped to the conclusion that the problem was the generator was starving for fuel. I was wrong, but there is a simple solution!
