Land Progress in Beaver Country - E120

Rain, rain go away - maybe not. Fires were burning part of southeast Kentucky in Whitley County near Corbin and Williamsburg in October and November. It had been dry and firefighters had arrived and stayed in the hotel we were scheduled to stay at. We were travelling down and ran into rain starting in mid KY and stayed with us the entire time to Corbin. I guess we brought much needed rain! It was still warm yet.
Our friends, George and Victoria, arrived the day before and said it was just beautiful. When we arrived it was wet and pretty much rained the entire weekend with times of snow too!
Setting up beaver traps netted a couple of beavers even though they were able to miss the snares! Smart buggers!
