The video tutorial will show you exactly what you need to do to create an account and buy the i-bonds yourself, for a spouse or child, or even for a business.

Steps to buy an i-Bond online through US TreasuryDirect website:
1) Create an account with the US treasury website page - https://www.treasurydirect.gov/RS/UN-AccountCreate.do
2) Go to https://www.treasurydirect.gov/indiv/products/prod_ibonds_glance.htm and click "electronic I bonds via TreasuryDirect"
3) Select ibonds or known as “series I savings bonds” on Treasury direct website, and then select the checking or savings account that will be used to purchase the ibonds
4) Click "Submit" and sit back and collect your sweet guaranteed 9.62% APY interest
