Lionel Messi and his Argentina teammates trained on Saturday, one day before Lionel Scaloni's side come up against France in the FIFA World Cup final, which will take place at Lusail Stadium in Qatar.

The two-time world champions head into Sunday's showpiece with two players back from suspension and Angel Di Maria fit and ready to face France.

Argentina are aiming to become the first South American nation to win the FIFA World Cup since Brazil in 2002.

Messi will overtake Lothar Matthaus (25) as the record appearance-maker in FIFA World Cup history if he plays in the final.
