Was Atlantis In North America?

For centuries, researchers have been trying to determine the location of Atlantis.

This mythical empire was apparently swallowed up by the ocean eons ago – but no one really knows where this apocalyptic event happened – or whether Atlantis ever even existed in the first place. Everyone seems to have their own theory. Some say Atlantis was located near the Azores Islands.

Others claim that the Richat Structure is the graveyard of this once-proud city. Still others say that the Atlantean Empire once stood on the now-sunken mid-Atlantic ridge, but there are those who have a very different idea about Atlantis.

They say the ruins of this lost empire are sitting in plain sight: In North America.
