Santa Klaus & China

Around this time of year, a very particular figure is often derided as being of 'paga' origin; that figure is, of course, Santa Klaus. It is also said that he doesn't exist, but he does in a way, and not through imagination alone. Santa Klaus embodies the truck driver, and otherwise goods transporter, what was once referred to as the Voyageur or Courrier des Bois. It is a figure that has been misrepresented, by those that dislike the so-called 'low-level' worker of the truck drive. As essential as they are today, the truck driver of the past used boats, and they were very wealthy; because they provided an important service, upon which many depended.
