It might seem silly to ask why the Resurrection is important in the Christian religion. However, many people might want to take it as a "neat" event to show Jesus is "neat". Others try and use it just as direct evidence of Christianity being true. However, the interpretation of the Resurrection is needed. And this is why Scripture doesn't just end at the Cross or at the empty Tomb.
