Creation Delivered - Show Notes

Summary:
A common question is, “Why do animals suffer for our Sin?” This is often coupled with “Will I see my pets again in heaven?” It’s certainly logical to ask the question, and it’s within the nature of God to want us to be happy in the New Heaven/New Earth. The real basis for the question is, “Will creation be redeemed and restored as well as the Saints?” Let’s see what the Scriptures say.

creation i.e. thing created
of individual things, beings, a creature, a creation

“That’s why the question of whether pets will be in heaven is not, as some assume, stupid. Animals aren’t nearly as valuable as people, but God is their Maker and has touched many people’s lives through them. It would be simple for Him to re-create a pet in heaven if He wants to. He’s the giver of all good gifts, not the taker of them. If it would please us to have a pet restored to the New Earth, that may be sufficient reason.” –Excerpt from Heaven by Randy Alcorn, p. 385.

Takeaway:
Could it be that when creation is restored/renewed/newly created that this is when “all flesh shall see the salvation of God?” When the creation is delivered from bondage, perhaps its voice will return to sing praise unto the Creator for the glorious liberty! If we shall be to the praise of His glory, it makes sense that the Creation will praise Him, too.
