In the distant future, psionic hormones were discovered in the human brain, giving humans extrasensory powers and changing the world as we know it. As humanity entered this new age, deranged mutants known as the Others descended from heaven hungry for human brains. Extremely resilient to traditional methods of attack, it had to fight overwhelming threats and take extreme measures to keep humanity alive. Those with keen extrasensory abilities known as Psykers had the only chance to repel the attacks from above. Since then, Psykers have been sought after for their talents and recruited into humanity's last line of defense, the Other Forces of Suppression (OSF).
