During the ongoing fight between Ethan of H3h3 and Keemstar from #Dramaalert, Maddox lies to a channel that made a hit piece on Keemstar and the Ralph Retort. In his submission Maddox has his voice deepened and when he talks a title card reading "Former Associate" is shown on screen. Everyone figured it out right away.
