Important Public Service Video Ranger Message

A 1949 Public Service Announcement aired on the DuMont Television Network, reminding the young viewers of "Captain Video" that "freedom is everybody's job". DuMont was a cheap network, but in fact, they did a lot of good things, like airing the complete McCarthy hearings (sadly no footage remains from their coverage). One must give them credit for good intentions.
