How Does a 3rd Trimester Abortion Work?

Intracardiac injection abortions, also called induction abortions, are performed in the third trimester (between 25 weeks and 40 weeks, which is after fetal viability).

The abortionist gives the baby a drug to cause cardiac arrest, soon after which the mother goes into labor to deliver a dead child.
