We should aim for high standards, quality, goodness in all life. Not just for individuality and self-expression, which are inevitabilities in all life. Contemporary art is about being different for the sake of being different, all personality and no artistry and real craft. Everyone gets to be a genius without hard work and that comes at the cost of all Art.
