• Matt 27:57-58 Joseph of Arimathea was a secret disciple of Jesus. He was a religious leader, an honored member of the high council. Joseph courageously asked to take Jesus' body from the cross and to bury it. The disciples who publicly followed Jesus had fled, but this Jewish leader, who followed Jesus in secret, came forward and did what was right. We need more Josephs, who are courageous, bold, daring and in love with Jesus. So Help Me God!

• Matt 27:59-60 Joseph as a secret disciples of Jesus, risked everything by burying the body of Jesus. He could potentially have been sentenced to death for siding with this One who was crucified. He could have lost his prominent position in the temple and in society if he was discovered to be a sympathizer of this itinerant Rabbi from Nazareth. At the very least, he was risking ritual defilement, which meant that he couldn't celebrate Passover after touching the dead body of Jesus. The prominent disciples - Peter, James, and John went hiding, while this secret disciple was at the Cross, ministering to the body of his Lord.

• Matt. 27:61-64 These skeptics remembered what Jesus said. With Jesus' words about rising again in three days ringing in their memories, Jesus' enemies were worried about what might happen. The believers? They were skeptics. Had they really believed Jesus would rise, they would have been camped out around the tomb to see it happen. Have you found that sometimes the unbeliever believes more than we do? The unbeliever often has more of an understanding of the power and reality of God than do we who have "theologized" or "dispensationalized" Him away with our doctrinal systems.

Father, in the name of Jesus, like Joseph, I receive the grace to be bold, audacious and courageous about my Faith and Belief. Josh 1:7-8 NLT
7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do.
8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am reigning as a king in life through the one man Jesus Christ the messiah. Now in Jesus name, I declare by faith that I walk in divine favour, I have preferential treatment, supernatural increase. I have restoration, I have prominence, I have petitions granted, laws changed, policies and rules changed, and battles won, which I do not have to fight all because of favour. The blessing and favour of God is on my life. In Jesus name, every morning, when I arise, I would speak and expect divine favour to go before me and surround me as with a shield, with goodwill and pleasures forevermore.

Doors are now open for me that men said are impossible to open. No obstacles can stop me, no hindrances can delay me. In Jesus name, I am honoured by my Father, as I receive genuine favour that comes directly from God. I am special to Him, I am the object of His affection, I am the apple of His eyes, I am blessed and highly favoured of the Lord. Everyone and everything shall work to favour me. Angels Goodness and Mercy shall accompany me in all my ways. It is written with long life will God satisfy me and show me his salvation. Therefore, I declare that I shall not die but live to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I declare over me and my household today that the yoke and burden of death over us is broken. So shall it be for me and my household today in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!
