Final Fantasy II. My first play though. You start out as Cecil.. taking orders and robbing villages of they're crystals. Then, after you resist orders from the king, he sends you to deliver a package to a village...which turns out to be Trojan Horse. It releases a bunch of demons.. kills almost everyone in town...
