Extremism and Minimal Necessary Force
1
Why do we see extremism? A lack of use of minimum necessary force.
This is related to linear projection, which we do naturally, how we are too kind when we need to push back and how to relate to this.
What we need to do is appreciate the idea that people need signals to navigate the world. Knowing the edges and seeing where you are in relation to those edges is important. Being near the edges can be dangerous for most people. This is really important because otherwise people stray towards the edges and become extreme. When we fail to signal people away from the edge, they get too close.
