What is Science?

Science needs a tighter definition. It is largely misunderstood. The inter-subjective validation that it provides is important, but also creates the illusion of equality. We confuse those who invent with science and science with progress and we have a replication crisis. What is the role of humility in science? How about engineering? What are the limits of science?
The tools of science like propositions and procedures are very powerful, but incomplete and limited. We need more participation in the world, which science prevents us from in some important way.
