Pro Teaches n00bs: Lesson 12: Godzilla '94

Once Upon a Time, back in 1994, there was a script for a Godzilla movie written by Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot! Intended to be directed by Jan De Bont (Of Speed Fame) with Special Effects created by Stan Winston, this would have been THE American Godzilla! However Sony didn't like the amount they were requesting (over 100 Million) and decided to eventually go with Roland Emmerich (Who, in the end, ALSO went over 100 Million!) And we ALL know where THAT one went.

But what about that original script? How would that have turned out? Well artists Todd Tennant and Elden Ardiente decided to answer that! After drawing 70+ Pages, Terry Rossio would then commission them to finish the whole thing, resulting in 200+ Pages of monster action!

So what would the movie be about? Well to give a brief summary. Scientist find Godzilla frozen in ice, he wakes up, Humanity tries to restrain him, alien space probes come to earth, mutate some creatures, gather more DNA from other animals, then creates a giant Gryphon monster, Godzilla must fight the Gryphon, Hi-jinks ensues!
