Breaking! The Turtle vows to respond if Article 142 is enacted.

Thanks for joining me for another walk through the protest in Joinville on this Thursday evening and day 51 of protests nationwide as I bring breaking news regarding the Turtle's response to the possible enactment of Article 142 by President Bolsonaro.

The right leaning YouTube news channel, Os Pingos Nos Is reported today that the Supreme Court Chief Justice (Turtle) vows to respond to President Bolsonaro if he enacts Article 142 of Brazil's constitution. He plans to use two recent precedents that he says will give him the authority to declare the move unconstitutional by decree and thereby permitting him to cancel the enactment.

The problem with this is that the Turtle lacks physical support to follow through with any declaration he may make.
Who is going to stop Brazil's Armed Forces from implementing Article 142? The Turtle himself? And who is going to physically challenge the most popular Brazilian President in history with the military and the people?

The answer is nobody.

However, this simple analysis caused controversy as two commentators on the program, Paulo Figueiredo and Jose Maria Trindade discussed, at times heatedly, how they envision the situation playing out.
